Anyway, I fucking hate fourth of July. Yeah, I'm a little afraid of fireworks (got a nasty burn once), but that's not really why. My dad's a fireman. He buys about twenty dollars of cheap fireworks. So this year, my sister, my mom, and I went to a fireworks stand and got a bunch of (legal, despite the drought) fireworks. We started lighting them, and he came out.

He was pissed as hell, 'cause some of them went really high in the air. Like, we got some ones called Diamond Somethings and it went up, but it was too high for him, and he started yelling at my mom and little sister. And then, when we lit the Roman Candles, my sister burned her neck, and he was more concerned with the fact that some of the embers (which go out before they hit the ground) would light a deck on fire. Jesus Christ, I had to take my sister inside and try to get her to stop crying. My mom was so frustrated that that's all we did this year, one Diamond Thing, some Killer Bees that my dad did that the same time and made them too hard to enjoy, and that one Roman Candle.

I'm really sorry for ranting at you and stuff, but I'm really frustrated with my father because he's like this all the time. I'm just really stressed by it all, and kinda upset that he ruined the holiday right before our cruise.
